Juan Martinez Rojas, Obituary, Death; – The Ada County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the pedestrian from Idaho who tragically lost his life after being hit by a vehicle on Interstate 84 during the weekend. Juan Martinez Rojas, aged 23, succumbed to traumatic blunt force injuries early Saturday, as stated in a news release from the coroner’s office.
The resident of Caldwell was attempting to cross the westbound lanes of I-84 near mile marker 45 in Meridian when he was struck by a vehicle, according to authorities. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Idaho State Police is currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
The coroner’s report classified the event as an “accident.” ISP spokesperson Aaron Snell was not available for further comment on Monday.
