Kevin L Curry Jr Obituary, Death; – The McLean County Coroner Kathleen Yoder has identified the pedestrian killed during a crash on Interstate 55 Thursday.
Kevin L. Curry Jr., 28, from Detroit, Michigan, died from multiple blunt force injuries he sustained after being struck by a pickup truck while he was allegedly running across the interstate, Yoder said.
The coroner’s office initially responded to a report of a death at approximately 10:53 a.m., on I-55 near Shirley. Curry was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:11 a.m. The Illinois State Police, Dale Township Fire and Rescue, Bloomington Fire Department and McLean County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the incident.
It remains under investigation by the coroner’s office and the Illinois State Police.
