Aubrey Wyatt Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identity of the individual who succumbed to injuries sustained in a late-night shooting incident in Springfield.
According to Springfield Police spokesperson Ryan Walsh, officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 100 block of Orange Street at approximately 10:50 p.m. on Friday.
Upon their arrival, law enforcement discovered a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. He was subsequently transported to Baystate Medical Center, where he later passed away due to his injuries. On Tuesday, the Hampden District Attorney’s Office released the name of the victim as 42-year-old Aubrey Wyatt, a resident of Springfield.

The investigation is ongoing, being conducted by the Springfield Police homicide unit in collaboration with the Hampden District Attorney’s murder unit.
