James Dunham Obituary, Death; – An inquiry is currently being conducted following the death of an 84-year-old man in a residential fire that occurred in Madison County on Friday.

Madison County Coroner Adam Matson informed FOX59/CBS4 that his office was summoned to a residence situated in the 18000 block of North 300 East in Summitville due to the fatal incident.

Responding to the scene were the Indiana State Fire Marshal, the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, and the Van Buren Township Fire Department.

The deceased has been identified as James Dunham. Matson noted that the results of the autopsy and toxicology tests are still awaited.

The precise cause of the fire is still under investigation.
