Romayne Soiseth Obituary, Death; – A pedestrian lost his life on Sunday night on an interstate in Nashville after allegedly entering the lanes of traffic.
According to law enforcement officials, Romayne Soiseth, a 73-year-old resident of Turlock, California, had been a passenger in a vehicle for approximately 14 hours. He reportedly exited the vehicle during periods of “stop and go traffic” due to feelings of claustrophobia.
The driver informed the authorities that he attempted to persuade Soiseth to return to the vehicle before the individual leaped over the central concrete barrier and entered the southbound lanes of I-65.
Tragically, he was struck and killed. This fatal incident took place on I-65 south, close to the Rosa L. Parks Boulevard exit. Police have stated that no charges will be filed in connection with this incident.
