Sandra Zuraw Obituary, Death; – A woman from Peters Township tragically passed away after losing control of her vehicle on Sunday afternoon.
Washington County Coroner Timothy Warco has identified the deceased as 77-year-old Sandra Zuraw. Warco reported that the incident occurred around 12:15 p.m. near 4007 Washington Road in Peters Township. Zuraw was subsequently taken to Canonsburg Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 1:01 p.m.
It remains uncertain whether she was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. The specific cause and manner of Zuraw’s death are still under investigation. Warco indicated that it is likely the accident was caused by a medical event. The Peters Township police are currently conducting an investigation.
