Evan Fiore,Kiley Armstrong Obituary, Death; – The investigation by law enforcement into a fatal car accident on Route 37 in Toms River is ongoing, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and leaving two others severely injured. Authorities have determined that the incident was precipitated by a teenager operating a vehicle at excessively high speeds in Ocean County.

According to reports from News 12, the deceased include 23-year-old Evan Fiore, who was driving a Toyota Camry, and his 21-year-old girlfriend, Kiley Armstrong, who occupied the passenger seat. Two additional individuals, identified by friends as Ryan Chapman and Krista Armstrong, were seated in the back of the vehicle. Medical professionals at Jersey Shore Medical Center are reportedly making efforts to stabilize the critically injured passengers.

Investigators from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office revealed that at approximately 10:45 p.m. on Friday, officers observed a teenager without a valid license operating a white BMW eastbound over the Mathis Bridge. The vehicle entered Seaside Heights, where police recorded its speed at 118 mph. For safety reasons, law enforcement did not pursue the vehicle. The driver subsequently returned westbound onto Route 37.

At 10:58 p.m., the teenage driver disregarded a red light at the intersection of Route 166, resulting in a collision with the Camry driven by Fiore. The driver of the BMW and his passengers survived the incident.

In response to the tragedy, friends of the victims have initiated a GoFundMe campaign to assist with funeral and medical costs, while others are gathering donations to support the families with immediate needs. The Ocean County Prosecutor has yet to disclose the identity of the arrested teenage driver, and it remains unclear who owned the vehicle involved in the crash.
