Atenogenes Medel Chavez Obituary, Death;- A fatal incident involving a pedestrian occurred in Carter County on Tuesday morning, as reported by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
According to the THP crash report, a pickup truck was heading north on State Route 400, approaching from Lovers Lane. The pedestrian was initially walking north in the southbound lane before crossing into the northbound lane, where they were subsequently struck by the vehicle.
The pedestrian, who has been identified as 51-year-old Atenogenes Medel Chavez, succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident, as confirmed by THP. No charges have been brought against the driver.
