Roderick T Hunter Arrested; – The Fulton County medical examiner has confirmed the identity of the individual charged with the fatal shooting of the owner of a tire shop in southeast Atlanta last week. On Thursday afternoon, Atlanta police reported that two individuals were shot at J.M.R. New & Used Tires, located at 2995 Jonesboro Road SE.
According to investigators, the incident involved three individuals: the tire shop owner, his son, and a third party. Authorities have stated that both the owner and the third individual were killed in what appears to be a situation involving a disgruntled employee.
Law enforcement indicated that the employee shot and killed the owner, after which the owner’s son fatally shot the employee. On Monday, the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the accused shooter as 46-year-old Roderick T. Hunter. The identity of the tire shop owner has not yet been disclosed.
