Joseph Buenrostro Obituary, – A man who was fatally shot in East Los Angeles was publicly named on Saturday. Joseph Buenrostro, aged 33, succumbed to injuries from a “gunshot wound to the torso,” as reported by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office. The incident has been classified as a homicide.

The shooting occurred at 9:29 p.m. on Wednesday in the 1300 block of South Fetterly Avenue, situated between Telegraph Road and East Olympic Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Buenrostro was declared dead at the scene. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the shooting to contact the sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500. Individuals wishing to remain anonymous may reach out to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or submit tips via lacrimestoppers.org.
