Douglas Hubler Obituary, Death; – The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has confirmed the identity of the individual discovered beneath a tarp in Carroll County last week. The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Douglas Hubler.
According to the Carroll County Sheriff, Hubler was originally from Pennsylvania but may have been residing in New York state. The sheriff also noted that Hubler’s family has not been in contact with him for several months.
On the morning of Friday, February 7, highway workers in Carroll County located his body, which was wrapped in a tarp, off the side of the road. The sheriff’s office arrived at the scene around 10 a.m., accompanied by Carroll County Coroner Mandal Haas, Carroll County Prosecutor Steven Barnett, Ohio BCI Investigators, and detectives from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office.
At this time, the cause of death has not been disclosed.
