Samuel M Riley Obituary, Death;- A man from Madison, who was cycling, tragically lost his life in an accident on Sunday evening.
According to officials from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, 37-year-old Samuel M. Riley sustained severe injuries when his bicycle was struck by a 2024 Jeep Wrangler operated by 41-year-old Surques Shackelford.
Riley was taken to Huntsville Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased. The incident occurred in the vicinity of Moore Street in Madison County. The Highway Patrol Division of ALEA is actively conducting an investigation into the matter.
