Chandra Brown Obituary, Death; – The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has announced that it is actively investigating the death of a woman whose remains were discovered last fall in Northeast Washington, D.C.

On October 18, 2024, at approximately 11:50 a.m., law enforcement officials responded to a report in the 4300 block of Brooks Street, where they located human remains. Subsequently, the remains were transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy, which determined the cause of death to be homicide.

The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Chandra Brown, who was reported to have no fixed address. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding this case to contact the MPD at (202) 727-9099 or to send a text tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
