Koby Tankersley Obituary, Death; – A fatal single-vehicle accident occurred early Wednesday morning, resulting in the death of a man from Cullman.
According to officials from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the incident took place at 2:10 a.m. on Cullman County 616, close to Cullman County 468, approximately four miles west of Hanceville.
The victim, identified as 23-year-old Koby Tankersley, sustained critical injuries when the 2001 Ford Ranger he was operating veered off the road, collided with a fire hydrant, and subsequently struck a cable box.
Following the collision, the vehicle overturned and impacted several trees. Tankersley was declared deceased at the scene. The Highway Patrol Division of ALEA is conducting an ongoing investigation.
