Kelly McGinnis Phoenix Obituary, Death; – Roanoke Police have confirmed the identity of a woman who lost her life in a collision on Saturday, January 18.
At 6:40 a.m., law enforcement officials responded to a report of a single-vehicle accident occurring in the 2000 block of Dale Avenue SE. According to police reports, the woman collided with a tree located in the median while traveling westbound on Dale Avenue.
Upon arrival, authorities discovered the woman suffering from critical injuries, and she was subsequently pronounced dead at a local hospital, as stated by Roanoke Police. The deceased has been identified as Kelly McGinnis Phoenix, a 51-year-old resident of Roanoke.
