Tony Haywood,Jayla Covington Obituary, Death;- A rollover accident on the northbound lanes of Interstate 57 close to 147th Street in Chicago led to the fatalities of a man and a woman, as reported by the Illinois State Police on Monday.
According to authorities, the incident took place shortly before 1:15 p.m. in the northbound direction of I-57, resulting in the deaths of both the driver and the passenger. The medical examiner has confirmed the identities of the deceased as 23-year-old Tony Haywood and 26-year-old Jayla Covington.
The incident also necessitated the closure of two lanes while the Illinois State Police conducted their investigation. All lanes have since been reopened. No additional information has been provided by the ISP.
