Summer Kennard Obituary, Death; – A fatal accident occurred in Morrow County on Monday, resulting in the death of a woman. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the victim, identified as 20-year-old Summer Kennard, was traveling eastbound on US-42 shortly after 5:30 a.m. on that day.
As Kennard attempted to reenter the roadway after veering off the right side, her vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a westbound truck. Emergency medical personnel transported Kennard to Morrow County Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
The truck driver was also taken to Morrow County Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The incident is currently under investigation.
