Ivan Bolotov Obituary, Death; – Ivan Bolotov, a 24-year-old captain of the 831st Tactical Aviation Brigade from Ukraine, lost his life during a combat operation, as reported by the brigade on February 3.
“At just 24 years of age, he was a skilled and seasoned warrior who relentlessly engaged Russian forces across various fronts,” the statement indicated.
Captain Bolotov had been executing Air Force flight missions since the onset of Russia’s extensive invasion, according to the brigade’s account.
Media sources have reported that he is survived by his wife and a five-month-old son. Additionally, another Ukrainian fighter pilot from the 299th Tactical Aviation Brigade was confirmed killed in action in December 2024.
