Davion Charles Obituary, Death; – A man who was shot and killed in the eastern part of Louisville has been identified.
According to LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis, law enforcement responded to a shooting incident on January 28 in the 8800 block of Malvern Hill Road, located near Westport Road, at approximately 2:25 p.m. Upon their arrival, officers discovered a man inside a residence who had sustained gunshot wounds.
He was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim on Saturday as 19-year-old Davion Charles.
While police arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting on Tuesday night, further investigation revealed that the individual would not face murder charges. Authorities have not disclosed additional details but confirmed that “all parties remain accounted for.”
