Margaret Hernandez Obituary, Death; – A 19-year-old woman lost her life in a motorcycle accident in west Phoenix early Friday morning, as reported by authorities.
The Phoenix Police Department indicated that the incident occurred shortly before 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of 35th and Dunlap avenues. The victim has been identified as Margaret Hernandez.
Following the collision, Hernandez was transported to a hospital; however, she succumbed to her injuries, according to police reports. The accident involved a motorcycle and another vehicle, as stated by law enforcement.
Authorities revealed that Hernandez was wearing a helmet while traveling east on Dunlap Avenue when an adult female driver in a car turned in front of her from 35th Avenue, resulting in the collision.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
