Jesse Jamison Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identity of the individual who was fatally shot while operating a pickup truck in southwest Rochester on Wednesday, resulting in a fiery collision.

Jesse Jamison, a 47-year-old resident of Rochester, was traveling on Coulton Place shortly before 10:45 p.m. when he sustained at least one gunshot wound to the upper body, as reported by Capt. Frank Umbrino of the Rochester Police Department. Following the shooting, the pickup accelerated and subsequently crashed into a parked vehicle. When emergency personnel arrived at the scene, the rear wheels of the truck were engulfed in flames.

The details surrounding the events leading up to the shooting remain unclear, according to Umbrino. No arrests have been made in connection with this incident, which represents the third homicide in Rochester for the year 2025. Coulton Place is a narrow residential street located off South Plymouth Avenue in Rochester, situated several blocks south of Ford Street.
