According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, the bodies of the two men were located on October 29, 2024, shortly before 4 p.m., in the 9000 block of Cresson Court, both exhibiting gunshot wounds. The coroner’s report indicated that McKinzy sustained his injuries from another individual. The identity of the second man remains undisclosed.
