Kerry Guerra Jr Obituary, Death; – A 23-year-old man from St. Bernard lost his life in a two-vehicle accident in St. Bernard Parish, as reported by the Louisiana State Police. The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4, near Francke Place on LA 46 in Violet.
The victim has been identified as Kerry Guerra Jr. Investigations reveal that Guerra was operating a 2001 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck traveling east on LA 46 when he collided with the rear of a 2013 Dodge Ram, which was also heading east. Following the impact, Guerra’s vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a tree.
Authorities indicated that Guerra was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, resulting in severe injuries. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. The driver of the Dodge Ram, who was properly restrained, remained unharmed.
As part of the investigation, routine toxicology samples were taken. On Thursday morning, tributes began to pour in on social media, with friends and family expressing their condolences and offering prayers for Guerra’s family and his young daughter.
