Michael T Keller Obituary, Death; – A man from Connecticut lost his life in a collision on Sunday, January 26, in Putnam County, according to law enforcement officials. The New York State Police have identified the deceased as Michael T. Keller, a resident of New Milford, Connecticut.

Officers from Troop K arrived at the site of a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 684 in the town of Southeast at approximately 7:15 a.m. on Sunday. Initial investigations revealed that the driver of the second vehicle, a woman from Mount Vernon, was heading northbound on I-684 when she reportedly lost control of her car, as stated by a Troop K spokesperson.

Police reports indicate that the woman collided with a guiderail, crossed all lanes of traffic, and subsequently struck Keller’s vehicle. Both cars then left the roadway, hit the median, and overturned before coming to a stop on the central embankment of the highway. The Mount Vernon driver was taken to a hospital in Connecticut with minor injuries, while Keller was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are continuing their investigation.
