Jessica C Fox,Jerry Washington Obituary, Death; – Virginia State Police responded to a fatal collision involving two vehicles in Caroline County, resulting in the deaths of both drivers. The incident occurred at approximately 6:28 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, when state troopers were dispatched to a crash on U.S. Route 1 in Caroline County.
As reported by state police, a 2015 GMC Acadia veered across the center line of the northbound lane of U.S. Route 1, located 0.10 miles north of Hillcrest Road, and collided head-on with a 2002 Ford F-150. This impact led to both vehicles igniting in flames.
Authorities confirmed that both drivers were transported to a medical facility, where they subsequently succumbed to their injuries. The driver of the GMC Acadia was identified as Jessica C. Fox, 35, from Spotsylvania, while the driver of the Ford F-150 was identified as Jerry Washington, 62, from Ruther Glen.
