Terry J Gurley Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identity of an individual who lost his life in a collision in Jackson County.
As reported by the Iowa State Patrol, the incident occurred at 6:07 p.m. on January 20, when a Jeep Grand Cherokee, traveling eastbound, veered across the center line and collided with a westbound Ford 350.
The impact resulted in a head-on collision, with the Jeep ending up in a ditch and the Ford positioned on the north shoulder, according to the Iowa State Patrol. The driver of the Jeep, 48-year-old Terry J. Gurley from Cascade, Iowa, was declared deceased at the scene.
The occupants of the Ford, identified as 27-year-old Kyle L. Harland and 22-year-old Megann L. Post from Maquoketa, Iowa, sought medical attention at a nearby hospital, as stated by the Iowa State Patrol. Officials have indicated that the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
