Phillip Abbott Obituary, Death; – Phillip Abbott, aged 64 and residing in Rochester, has been identified as the pedestrian who tragically lost his life in a vehicular accident that occurred in Rochester on Wednesday. The incident took place at approximately 5:40 p.m. on Broadway Avenue South, close to 19th Street Southeast.
As reported by the Rochester Police Department (RPD), the 40-year-old driver, also from Rochester, has not been arrested or charged in connection with the incident. According to RPD, Abbott was fatally struck while attempting to cross the street outside of a designated crosswalk.
