Tony Harris Obituary, Death; – A 59-year-old woman has been apprehended in relation to a shooting incident that took place in the west valley last weekend.
As reported by the Las Vegas Metro Police, the shooting transpired on East Converse Drive, close to North Hollywood Boulevard, at approximately 8:35 a.m. on Sunday, January 12. A man, later identified as 57-year-old Tony Harris, was discovered lying in the street with a gunshot wound. Harris succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The investigation revealed that Harris had been observed engaged in an argument with an unidentified individual, who subsequently fled the vicinity prior to the shooting.
Authorities have identified this individual as 59-year-old Theresa Beets, who was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the fatal shooting. She has been charged with open murder and kidnapping and is currently held at the Clark County Detention Center. Beets is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
