Cas Ivan Farley,Norma Kay Farley Obituary, Death; – Blount County court documents released on Wednesday have identified the three individuals who perished in a house fire and have provided additional information regarding the man charged in connection with their deaths.

John Ray Wilburn, 56, of Walland, faces three counts of criminal homicide. The affidavit of complaint reveals that Cas Ivan Farley, 61, Delmar Marty Farley, 59, and Norma Kay Farley, 65, were discovered deceased on January 19 at approximately 9 p.m.

Firefighters responded to a call regarding a fire at the residence located on Payne Hollow Road. After extinguishing the flames, authorities reported that the victims’ remains were located within the debris of the fire. The chief of the Blount County Fire Protection District stated that the residence has been completely destroyed.

According to the complaint, the victims were transported to the Knox County Regional Forensic Center for autopsy examinations. Preliminary findings suggest that all victims exhibited injuries consistent with homicide, as indicated in court records.

Wilburn is currently being held on a bond of $750,000 and is awaiting a hearing in the Blount County General Sessions Court scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on January 27.
