Davon Wood Obituary, Death; – Several individuals were taken to the hospital, and one man lost his life following a shooting incident in Boynton Beach, according to authorities. Early Sunday morning, Boynton Beach Police responded to reports of gunfire in the vicinity of the 500 Block of Northeast Second Street.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered five individuals with gunshot wounds, all of whom were subsequently transported to a local hospital for medical attention. A sixth individual, as reported by the police, made his own way to an emergency facility. Authorities indicated that the shooting stemmed from a confrontation between two individuals during a gathering.
One of the hospitalized victims unfortunately succumbed to his injuries, identified by police as 31-year-old Davon Wood, a resident of Fort Lauderdale. Four other victims sustained injuries that are not life-threatening, while one remains in critical condition. As of now, no arrests have been made by the police.
