Alec Edward Shaw Obituary, Death; – The individual who was shot and killed during an officer-involved incident in Beaufort County on January 9, 2025, has been identified as 19-year-old Alec Edward Shaw. The event occurred on N.C. Highway 33 in Chocowinity, where Shaw was shot by a deputy from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office and subsequently succumbed to his injuries.
