Roy Dacke Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identity of the Beaumont man who lost his life in an auto-pedestrian accident over the weekend. Roy Dacke, aged 49, was fatally struck on Texas 347 in Beaumont.
At approximately 10:20 p.m. on Sunday, officers from the Beaumont Police Department responded to reports of an auto-pedestrian incident occurring on Texas 347 at the city limits of Beaumont, as stated by police spokesperson Sgt. Tom Swope in previous communications with the Enterprise.
The investigation revealed that Dacke was involved in a domestic dispute with another individual in a vehicle. Following this altercation, Dacke exited the vehicle and was subsequently struck by a passing car, according to Swope’s earlier remarks.
