Lacey Cartmill Obituary, Death; – A 38-year-old woman tragically lost her life on Friday evening after being hit by a vehicle while attempting to cross North Main Street in Cleburne.
Cleburne police arrived at the scene around 6:26 p.m. in the 1700 block of North Main Street. A male and female pedestrian were running westward across North Main Street when the female, dressed entirely in black, was struck by a dark blue Ford F-150 truck heading southbound.
She was declared dead at the scene. The Cleburne police have identified her as Lacey Cartmill. The incident took place approximately 1,100 feet north of the intersection of North Main and Kilpatrick streets. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
