David Jervis Obituary, – Authorities in Los Angeles apprehended a second individual implicated in a fatal shooting that occurred in Las Vegas, more than two weeks prior, as reported by police on Tuesday morning.
On the early hours of Monday, August 12, at approximately 3:45 a.m., officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 3900 block of Palos Verdes Street, situated north of Flamingo Road, following reports of gunfire.
According to police accounts, witnesses observed a man and a woman conversing in the street when they heard a “pop” and saw the man, who was bleeding, flee to a vehicle and drive away.
Subsequently, officers discovered a man slumped over the steering wheel of a car in the 400 block of Calcaterra Circle. Emergency medical personnel transported the individual, later identified as 44-year-old David Jervis, to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
On August 20, authorities arrested 28-year-old Anthony Rollans as a suspect in the incident, booking him in absentia at the Clark County Detention Center on charges of open murder and conspiracy to commit murder. During the investigation, detectives identified 24-year-old Devin Perkins as a second suspect. On August 29, law enforcement in Los Angeles located and arrested Perkins.
He has been booked into the Los Angeles County Jail and is currently awaiting extradition to Las Vegas, where he will face charges of open murder and conspiracy to commit murder. A booking photograph of Perkins has not yet been made available.
