Dilip M Shah Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identity of the individual who was fatally struck by an NJ Transit train on Tuesday evening in Middletown. The victim has been identified as 77-year-old Dilip M. Shah, a resident of Monmouth County.
Mr. Shah, who resided in Ocean, was hit at 5:54 p.m. by a North Jersey Coast Line train that was traveling from New York Penn Station to Bay Head, as reported by NJ Transit. At the time of the incident, the train was carrying approximately 200 passengers. Train services were temporarily halted before resuming, albeit with delays.
