Terrence Brunson Obituary, Death; – A 39-year-old man from the city was fatally shot on Monday night in the vicinity of North Law and Liberty streets, according to officials. The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office has identified the deceased as Terrence Brunson and has classified his death as a homicide.
As per the statement, law enforcement was alerted to the shooting at 10:29 p.m. in the 500 block of West Liberty Street, where they discovered Brunson with multiple gunshot wounds. He succumbed to his injuries in the emergency department at St. Luke’s Hospital’s Sacred Heart Campus, as reported by the coroner’s office.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday, according to the announcement. The investigation is being conducted by the Allentown Police Department, the Lehigh County Homicide Task Force, and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office, in conjunction with the coroner’s office.
This incident follows a recent shootout during a Dominican Festival in downtown Allentown, which resulted in five bystanders being shot and several others injured. Two individuals are currently incarcerated in Lehigh County Jail, facing charges of attempted homicide and aggravated assault related to that previous event.
