Kyle Lang Obituary, Death; – The body of a man from New Hampshire was discovered face down in a ditch in Berwick, Maine, late on Friday, according to police reports.
Authorities have identified the individual as 26-year-old Kyle Lang from Rochester, New Hampshire, as stated by Berwick Police Captain Jerry Locke in an official announcement. Captain Locke described Lang’s death as “suspicious.”
The investigation at the scene was conducted by the Berwick Police Department in collaboration with the York Police Department and the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit, as noted by Locke.
Lang was last seen around 10 p.m. on Thursday, having departed from the vicinity of Jordan Street in Berwick, which is close to the New Hampshire border, and was thought to be heading towards Rochester, according to police statements. His family reported him missing to the Berwick police earlier on Friday.
Subsequently, authorities became aware of a vehicle that might be connected to the case. This vehicle was seized by the New Hampshire State Police after it was found in Rochester. An autopsy was performed on the body by the state Medical Examiner’s Office over the weekend; however, the results were not available as of Monday evening.
