Tabatha Tozzi Obituary, Death; – The U.S. Marshals Service in the District of Nevada has issued a request for assistance and announced an increased reward to locate a man sought in connection with the fatal shooting of his girlfriend during a dispute in Las Vegas approximately eighteen months ago.

In a press release on Wednesday, the U.S. Marshals revealed that they are offering a reward of $3,500 for information leading to the apprehension of Oswaldo Nathanahel Perez-Sanchez, 26 years old. The agency is collaborating with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in this effort. Previously, the FBI had offered a reward of $30,000 for information that would result in his capture.

The incident occurred on April 22, 2023, when Perez-Sanchez fatally shot his girlfriend, identified as 26-year-old Tabatha Tozzi, during an argument at her residence, as reported by the U.S. Marshals. The suspect is also alleged to have carjacked a witness and fled the scene. On Thursday morning, the U.S. Marshals disseminated information regarding the suspect via Facebook.

Currently, Perez-Sanchez is evading capture and faces multiple charges, including open murder with the use of a deadly weapon or tear gas, coercion constituting domestic violence with the threat or use of physical force, robbery involving a deadly weapon or tear gas, and grand larceny of a motor vehicle, as stated by the FBI. Tozzi’s family and friends commemorated her life a year after her tragic death, according to KSNV.

Regina Lacerda, who appears to be Tozzi’s mother, initiated a GoFundMe campaign shortly after her daughter’s passing. She recounted that her daughter had called her for assistance during a dispute with her boyfriend, referred to as “Nate.”

“I rushed over in a state of panic,” Lacerda wrote in the fundraiser description. “Upon my arrival, I was confronted with the worst nightmare any mother could endure. My daughter had been shot by the man who professed to love her, a man I had trusted with my daughter, who was my entire world. She was all I had left, and my heart is utterly shattered.”
