Zavion Horn Obituary, Death; – Police have identified a man killed in a triple shooting Saturday night in Kansas City as 33-year-old Zavion Horn. Officers were dispatched around 9:30 p.m. to the 5500 block of Troost Avenue after reports of gunfire.
Investigators determined the shooting happened in the parking lot of a nearby business. Three victims were taken to a local hospital by private vehicle. A man and woman are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Horn later died at the hospital. Police believe an interaction between an adult male suspect and one of the victims escalated into gunfire, striking all three victims.
