Zaniya Booker Obituary, Death; – The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the 17-year-old girl who was shot and killed on Wednesday as Zaniya Booker on Thursday afternoon.
Booker was fatally wounded in a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 4:45 p.m. at 4466 N. 28th St. On Thursday, police announced that they were continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting and were actively searching for a suspect. Efforts by the Journal Sentinel to contact Booker’s family were unsuccessful.
