Xavier Colvert Obituary, Death; – Authorities are actively searching for a suspect involved in a deadly shooting that occurred late Friday night. The Birmingham Police Department reported that officers responded to a call regarding gunfire in the 1500 block of 57th Street Ensley at approximately 11:50 p.m. on January 31.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive male in a vehicle, who had sustained a gunshot wound, according to police statements. Emergency medical personnel declared the individual deceased at the scene.
