Wyatt Howard Pugh II Obituary, Death;- An elderly man lost his life in a single-vehicle accident in Pleasant Grove.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the deceased as Wyatt Howard Pugh II, an 81-year-old resident of Pleasant Grove.
The incident occurred at 5:40 p.m. on Thursday in the 400 block of Ninth Street.
Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates reported that Pugh’s vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree.
Pugh was transported to UAB Hospital, where he was declared dead at 8:13 p.m. The Pleasant Grove police are currently conducting an investigation.
