William Myers Obituary, Death; – One individual has lost their life as a result of a tragic accident in Iowa County. As per a report from the Iowa State Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10.
The report indicates that a 2009 Ford Escape was traveling southbound in the vicinity of the 2000 block of 210th Street in Marengo when, for reasons yet to be determined, it veered across the center line. Subsequently, the Escape collided head-on with an oncoming truck and trailer.
The driver of the Escape, who was the sole occupant, has been identified as 52-year-old William Myers from Marengo. He sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision. The report did not indicate any injuries to the driver of the truck.
