William Christensen Obituary, Death; – An 80-year-old man lost his life when the UTV he was operating on a McLeod County highway collided with a Ford pickup truck.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. on Saturday, near the junction of Highway 7 and Highway 22, just east of Henderson.
Both a Kawasaki UTV and a Ford F-150 were traveling westbound when they “made contact” just west of the Hwy. 22 intersection.
The driver of the UTV, identified as William Christensen from Hutchinson, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup, an 82-year-old man from Fergus Falls, sustained no injuries. However, a 77-year-old female passenger incurred non-life-threatening injuries.
