William Blake Robinson,David Cheesequay Obituary, Death; – Authorities north of Toronto have apprehended an individual following the alleged murder and dismemberment of two individuals.
Barrie police report that they initiated an investigation earlier this year after receiving a missing person report.
They indicate that officers conducted searches at multiple sites, including a property in Huntsville, Ontario, a residence in North Simcoe County, and a wooded area in Barrie where a significant homeless encampment is situated.
A suspect, who was initially detained in early August, is now facing additional charges after police collected evidence, which included human remains, and interviewed witnesses concerning the two fatalities.
The deceased have been identified as 45-year-old William (Blake) Robinson and 41-year-old David Cheesequay.
A 52-year-old man has been charged with various offences, including first- and second-degree murder, as well as two counts of indignity to a dead body.
The suspect is also facing allegations related to firearms and drug trafficking, in addition to theft.
He is currently in custody and has a bail hearing set for Friday.
