Wanshan Li,Aoyo Cui Obituary, Death; – On Monday, the Syracuse police announced the identities of the two Syracuse University students who were tragically killed last week by a dump truck.
The students have been named as Wanshan Li, aged 23, and Aoyo Cui, aged 24, as stated by Kieran Coffey, a spokesperson for the police department.
Li and Cui were walking close to the campus shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Thursday when they were struck by the truck at the intersection of East Adams Street and University Avenue.
According to university officials, the students were international graduate students enrolled in the College of Engineering and Computer Science. On Friday, friends of the students gathered at the site of the accident to pay tribute to them.
As of now, no charges have been filed.
