Virginia Peare Obituary, Death; – A woman from Brookings lost her life in a single-vehicle accident in Curry County last week.
Oregon State Police reported that the incident occurred on Thursday night at approximately 11 p.m. Initial investigations suggest that a black Jeep Wagoneer was heading north on Highway 255, located just northeast of Brookings.
For reasons yet to be determined, the vehicle veered off the road and rolled down an embankment. The driver, identified as 81-year-old Virginia Peare, was pronounced dead at the scene. According to OSP, the highway remained unaffected during the investigation.
