Victor Bautista Obituary, Death; – Authorities have disclosed the identity of a man from Hesperia who tragically lost his life in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 395 in Adelanto last week.
Victor Bautista, aged 53, succumbed to injuries sustained in the incident, which occurred around 10:50 p.m. on Sunday, September 15, along Highway 395, south of Desert Flower Road, as reported by the San Bernardino County coroner’s office.
At the time of the accident, Bautista was operating a 2003 Mini Cooper traveling south when the vehicle veered into oncoming traffic, resulting in a collision with a northbound 2023 GMC Sierra pickup truck, according to officials from the California Highway Patrol.
Bautista was pronounced dead at the scene, as confirmed by authorities. The driver of the pickup truck, a 23-year-old man from Idaho, received treatment for minor injuries, officials stated.
