Tyron R Clanton Obituary, Death;- A man has died following a shooting incident that occurred near a gas station in Petersburg on Monday evening.
At 5:19 p.m. on September 29, officers from the Petersburg Bureau of Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 1900 block of E. Washington Street.
Footage provided by a viewer of 8News indicates that there was a significant police presence at a nearby BP gas station during that time.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers reportedly discovered a man named Tyron R. Clanton, who had sustained gunshot wounds.
He was transported to a local hospital, where he subsequently passed away.
