Tyrese Walder Obituary, Death; – Four individuals sought in connection with the fatal attempted ATM robbery in Murfreesboro have been apprehended in Arkansas, as reported by the Murfreesboro Police Department (MPD).
The four men had escaped after allegedly trying to steal an ATM from a 7-Eleven located on East Northfield Boulevard early on Friday morning.
MPD stated that the group arrived at the store in a white pickup truck with a guy wire attached to the rear before employing a sledgehammer to break the store window.
The suspects subsequently wrapped the guy wire around the ATM and utilized the truck to pull the ATM from its foundation.
During the course of the attempted theft, MPD indicated that one of the suspects, identified as 23-year-old Tyrese Walder, was shot and killed by a customer inside the store.
The remaining suspects fled the location.
MPD reports that they successfully tracked the suspects’ vehicle using license plate readers and crime analysts. A nationwide alert was issued for the group.
Arkansas State Police intercepted the SUV and arrested the four wanted individuals on Friday.
According to MPD, the suspects were en route back to Texas.
The group is currently awaiting extradition back to Tennessee.
